    Hi Lisa and Matt,

Thanks for taking the time to contact Trint about this feature request. We can definitely see the value of such additional features. I'll send this on to our product development team, and it will help them prioritise how we develop the product in the future.

Keep an eye on our Product Development Page so that you can see what we've been working on:

I agree. Ability to add comments/notes would be very helpful. In fact, similar functionality as MS Word would be great for editing written content. Functions like "Comment," "Track Changes," "Show Markup," "Word Count," and font controls (bold, italic, underline, & multiple font colors & highlight colors) would be amazing.

I agree! Leaving notes next to Highlighted bits would be amazing. This product is fantastic. I use it every day. That feature would make my team and I really really happy

Another vote for collaborative editing features. Our workflow entails two to three passes by different people before the transcript can be deemed complete and correct. Our pre-Trint workflow uses Google Docs to pass through different hands, and we use commenting, named versions and Track Changes to see what changed between versions. We are just starting a pilot trial using Trint, and we are planning to email around the files to different people and then have them email it back to a central manager to keep track of the process. This requires being very careful about file naming conventions for multiple versions as a file goes through the stages of the workflow. Note that we only have one editor at a time - the ability to edit *simultaneously* is not important to us at all. The key features would, first of all, be to edit the *same* file so that we don't have multiple versions floating around. Second most important would be to add comments. Third would be version history and the ability to see who changed what.
