    Hi Karen,

Sorry to hear that you've been running into our 1GB file size limit. Unfortunately we have had to institute this limit as we started to see a large spike in transcription errors for anything above that size.

We know that this can be a hassle for our users who are trying to upload long audio and large video files, so we’ve come up with a few tips to help you overcome the 1GB limit. Things like:

    • dividing your file into multiple pieces using video editing software
    • creating a copy of a video file as an audio file and uploading that instead
    • compressing your audio file into a different audio file type, if you’re working with high fidelity audio

It may be that we will revisit this size limit at some point, but it's not currently a priority.

    All the best,

    Connor

You guys have to put the file size limit on one page with techincal specs. It's ridiuclous that I just spent 10 minutes looking for all the info I need to make an export from a video. We need file type, length and file size limit all on ONE TECHNICAL SPECS page in your help section.

    Hi Ursula,

Apologies for this, I've added all of this information to: https://support.trint.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003734689-Formatting-Files-for-Upload

We appreciate you letting us know that this information was difficult to find, hopefully these changes will make it easier for our user's in the future.

    All the best,

    Connor
