Allow greater than 1 GB uploads
AnsweredIt's hard to get video files under 1GB, and I use Trint to transcribe up to 1 hour of footage sometimes. It'd be great if I didn't have to convert my footage into MP3 files, because I need to watch the speakers at the same time as I read.

Hi Karen,
Sorry to hear that you've been running into our 1GB file size limit. Unfortunately we have had to institute this limit as we started to see a large spike in transcription errors for anything above that size.
We know that this can be a hassle for our users who are trying to upload long audio and large video files, so we’ve come up with a few tips to help you overcome the 1GB limit. Things like:
- dividing your file into multiple pieces using video editing software
- creating a copy of a video file as an audio file and uploading that instead
- compressing your audio file into a different audio file type, if you’re working with high fidelity audio
It may be that we will revisit this size limit at some point, but it's not currently a priority.
All the best,

All the best,
