Things change, transcription needs go up and down, and we want to make sure that trinters can adjust course when necessary! We try to keep things as flexible as possible so that when your transcription volume changes, your plan can too.
Although we want to make it as easy as possible to change plans, things are a little different depending on what kind of plan you're subscribed to. Trinters on an individual plan can go to their "Plan" page and adjust their subscription settings whenever they want. Trinters who are part of a team plan are connected to a pool of credit controlled by the team's admin, and they'll need to reach out to that person (or be that person) in order to change their subscription. Also, please note that team accounts cannot downgrade from or cancel their initial plan for the first three months of their subscription.
To upgrade your plan, head to the "Plan" page and choose your new choice of subscription plan. This will come into effect immediately, so please note that you will be charged and begin a new monthly cycle! We roll over the minutes that you've accrued under your previous plan, and will continue to do so for up to 12 months after they were purchased.
To downgrade your plan, head to the "Plan" page and choose your new choice of subscription plan. This will come into effect at the end of your current monthly cycle, so you'll be able to access your plan's same (lower) rate to purchase time in one-hour increments if necessary. We roll over the minutes that you've accrued under your previous plan, and will continue to do so for up to 12 months after they were purchased.
If you want to cancel your plan, you can also do that from your "Plan" page...but we'll be so sorry to see you go! The good thing is though, if you downgrade to our Pay-As-You-Go plan this will allow you to use up your remaining minutes over the next 12 months and allow you the flexible option to purchase more time as needed.
Team accounts operate a little differently than individual accounts, and the subscriptions do too.
When you first start your team account, you'll be obliged to stick with your plan or upgrade only for a minimum of three months. After that you can downgrade and upgrade to your heart's content!
Our system attempts to predict your currency based on where you are browsing from. If you want to pay for your plan with a different currency, you'll have to override this at the point of registration by changing your IP address to the country whose currency you wish to pay in. Once registered, the only way to change your currency is to cancel your account and re-register.
