A little while ago, Trint decided to only love file sizes that are 1GB or smaller. Anything bigger, and we started to see ugly transcription errors taking place all over the Trint. We definitely don’t want that for you.
We know this can sound 😯 and a hassle for those of you trying to upload large video files. We recommend checking your file size before trying to upload so that you’re not too surprised by the error message. But we know this isn’t always possible. So we’ve come up with a few tips to help you overcome the 1GB limit: Things like:
- dividing your file into multiple pieces,
- creating a copy of a video file as an audio file and uploading that instead,
- compressing your audio file into a different audio file type, if you’re working with high fidelity audio.
