Want to send your transcript to someone else? Trint lets you share a copy of your Trint via email.
How to Share a Trint
1) Sign in to Trint and open up the file you want to share.
2) Click the "Email" icon.
3) Enter the email address/email addresses of the person you want to share with.
4) Click "Share."
In order to access your Trint, your colleagues will need to register for an account - they can do this here.
Can my friends see my edits?
Currently, Trint doesn't support collaborative editing.
We know this sounds like a bummer, but opening the same Trint on multiple devices at the same time can lead to technical issues with our autosave functions (risking you losing all of your work 😱). We are working on building a setup similar to Google Docs that will allow specified users to access and edit certain transcripts together.
In the meanwhile, you can still send them a copy.
Why can't I see a shared Trint?
If you're having any issues sharing or receiving a Trint, it's probably because of a case-sensitivity issue. Trint's login process IS case sensitive, so if someone shares a Trint with Connor@trint.com, but Trint has them registered as firstname.lastname@example.org
they will receive an e-mail with a link to the transcription, but Trint won't let you access it.
This can be fixed by having the transcription sent to the correct email address.
Can I email multiple people at once?
Yes! You can enter as many emails as you like in the sharing screen as long as you separate them with a space.
If you run into any trouble, let us know at email@example.com.
