It is easy to translate your transcript, and you can do so into 54 languages!

Just make sure you've transcribed your file in its original language and once it has been transcribed, you can translate it.

Afrikaans, Amharic, Albanian, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Traditional & Simplified), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dari, Dutch, English, Estonian, French, French Canadian, Finnish, Georgian, German, Greek, Hausa, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Persian, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Somali, Swahili, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese.

You'll need to translate the transcript and then turn it into a Caption file or add it to a Story. This is how:

1. Open your transcript and click Translate on the menu bar

2. Choose the language you’d like to translate to

3. This will then create a translated version. Translated versions can be toggled through on the same transcript by clicking on the tabs above the text

4. Play back the original video and follow along in the translated text - just like the original, the text will darken with the speech. The highlights from the original version will appear in the translated version.

Please note that edits made in the translated file will not automatically appear in the other versions. We recommend making edits before translating the text.
